How to write and publish impactful scientific papers with Elevate Scientific

elevate scientific

Future Faculty, WINGS and Careers Centre invite you to a half day seminar on how to write and publish impactful scientific papers with Elevate Scientific!

Writing and publishing of research papers is an essential part in scientists’ day-to-day activities. But how do you write and publish papers that make an impact? In this half-day interactive seminar, Dr. Dan Csontos will impart strategies for writing and publishing papers that are not only found and read, but understood, and found meaningful and influential by readers. The seminar will touch upon the importance of scientific storytelling, a step-by-step approach to craft scientific stories for publication, and insights into the editorial processes at scientific journals in general, and the so-called high-impact journals in particular.
Dan is the Editorial Director at Elevate Scientific. He has a PhD in physics, and has previously been a science editor with Nature and Nature Physics, and a science editor and project manager for Macmillan Science Communications.
