Reply from Chancellor to open letter regarding the LU business council

The Chancellor of Lund University, Torbjorn von Schantz, has responded to our open letter regarding the unequal representation in the newly formed business council.

The letter reads as follows:

"Dear Linnea and WINGS,

Thank you for highlighting this important question. Many things must be done to achieve gender equality at Lund university and elsewhere and I will do my very best to make that happen. However, the gender imbalance in the Näringslivsrådet is a good example of me failing to do right. We will work harder to achieve a more equal representation in the  “Näringslivråd” which hence will have a different constitution next time we meet.

Best regards,
Torbjörn von Schantz"
